Verification Profile
This guide will walk you through the verification profile process.
Verification profiles are collections of verification criteria that are used to verify the customer's identity. Each verification profile is associated with a customer and is used to verify the customer's identity. Each verification profile is unique and is used to unlock various features and services. Not all verification profiles are required to be completed before the customer can initiate a transfer.
Verification profiles consists of the following fields:
- name: The name of the verification profile.
- status: The overall status of the KYC/KYB process. Once a verification profile is approved, the customer is considered KYC/KYB compliant.
- criteria: The criteria of the verification profile.
Verification Profile Status
The verification profile status is used to determine if the verification profile has been completed. The verification profile status can be one of the following:
- incomplete: The verification profile has not been completed.
- pending: The verification profile is in progress.
- approved: The verification profile has been completed and approved.
- rejected: The verification profile has been completed and rejected.
Verification Profile Criteria
The verification profile criteria is used to determine if the verification profile has been completed. The verification profile criteria consists of the following fields:
- complete: The list of fields or requirements that have been completed.
- pending: The list of fields or requirements that are in progress of being verified.
- required: The list of fields or requirements that are required.
- errors: The list of fields or requirements that have been rejected.
Handling Rejected Fields or Requirements
If a field or requirement is rejected, the customer will need to be notified and the field or requirement will need to be completed again. The customer will need to be notified of the rejected field or requirement and the reason why it was rejected. The customer will then need to complete the field or requirement again. To re-submit the field or requirement, the customer will need to use the Update Customer endpoint as well as the Upload Document endpoint. Once the field or document has been updated, the customer will be retried to complete the verification profile.
